Friday afternoon some of the membership attended the retirement walkout for Assistant Chief Kenny Getty who was retiring after 20 years of service in New Castle County. Chief Getty began his career at the Talleyville Fire Co. and finished with the Delaware City Fire Co. Friday evening the Delaware City Fire Co. held a short program to honor Chief Getty be for he did his final walkout surrounded by family and friends. The Officers and Members would like to congratulate Chief Getty on his career and good luck on his next adventure.
