On Monday April 29, 2024 at 1045 hours Ambulance 64 was dispatched to Longwood Lane for a medical emergency. It was determined that the patient was suffering from a stroke and needed transport to Christiana Hosptial. They requested DSP Trooper 4 for a medic and transport unit. A landing zone was set up at Station 45, in front of the station. Engine 45 blocked the north ending of RR Avenue, while the duty officers pickup blocked the south end assisted by a Town of Clayton trtash truck. Trooper 4 mades its landing with the medic assisting Ambulance 64's crew. The patient was transfered to Trooper 4 for transport to CER. KM6A assisted also with medical care.
