When President Alex Carrow took office one of the things he wanted to do was to hold a social event to honor the years of dedicated service by the life members of our department. Under his direction a small committee put forth plans to hold a social for the life members on Sunday May 3rd. Approximately 40 Life Members attended the event which gave everyone a chance to remenise about the departments history. Life Members were treated to food and drinks by the ladies auxiliary, history items were displayed giving them a chance to look over and video's were made with several members where they got the chance to tell stories and talk about the past history. With this year being the 135th Anniversary of the company it was a great opportunity for everyone to get together. The Life Members woudl like to thank the company and the ladies auxiliary for putting on a great affair. Hopefully this will become an annual event. Pictures courtest of Carol Ann Morris.
