Friday morning May 10th friends and family members gathered at the Kent County Paramedic Station #6 on Wheatleys Pond Rd for the offical renaming of the building to the Bruce C. Ennis Kent County Paramedic Station 6. Senator Ennis who recently retired from public service after an extensive career representative northern Kent County and southern New Castle County was honored for his years and years of supporting emergency services most particularly EMS in Delaware. He spearheaded legislation establishing a statewide paramedic system for Delaware. President Whalen attended the ceremony on behalf of the company. Senator Ennis is also a Past Chief, Past President and Life Member of the Citizens Hose Co. of Smyrna and an Honorary Life Member of the Clayton Fire Co. Photo's obtained via Facebook.
