December 14, 2021 Prior to the start of the regular December fire company meeting the members and officers took time to dedicate a little library. The idea of having a little library was brought to the board of directors several months ago by then Explorer member Reaghan King. She proposed the idea and educated the board on the little library program. She stated she would keep it stocked with books and fire prevention materials. The little library is located in the entrance way of the fire company off East Street in Clayton. The little library program has thousands of these little library’s across the county and the one in Clayton is registered with littlefreelibrary.org. Reaghan and her father made and installed the little library, and it has been used many times. A great thank you goes out to Reaghan and her family.
