ENGINE COMPANY GOES TO LEIPSIC FOR STORAGE BUILDING ON FIRE

Sunday afternoon December 6th at 12:29pm the station was alert for an engine company to assist Leipsic on a non-dwelling structure fire in the 3400 block of Big Woods Road outside Leipsic.  Engine 45 w/6, Chief Alex Carrow and Squad 45 w/5, Deputy Chief John Pridemore made the response.  Leipsic units arrived to find a small storage building involved.  The incident commander Chief Joey Marker reduced the assignment to Leipsic units and had Engine 45, who was almost on scene, continue in.  The crew from engine 45 remained on scene assisting with overhaul.  Photo's courtesy Carol Ann Morris from Sta 44.  Units responding;  Command 53, Engine/Tanker 53, Rescue 53, Brush 53, Engine 45, Squad 45, Rescue 44, Squad 54,  FM-15 (Sipple).
