Thursday evening at 18:52 the station alog with Ladder and Engine 44 were alerted for the residental structure fire in the 100 block of Clayton Ave. Command 45 w/Asst. Chief Jeff Lightcap and Engine 45 w/6 Captain Austin Moorhead arrived together with Engine 45 securing a water supply and stretching the attack line. They were followed closely by Quint 45 w/6, Deputy Chief John Pridemore and Squad 45 w/5, Past Chief Rodney Whalen. Crews from both pieces handled the special services duties. Ladder 44 and Rescue 45 w/4, Past Chief Robert Davis postioned at the rear of the structure, while Engine 44 staged. Crews located an electrical issue in the sub floor and were able to secure the power to the house. Assistant Chief Lightcap had the command.
