Wednesday afternoon at 13:40 Station 44 was dispatched for a combine and field on fire on Paddock Road east of Rt 1. Station 44 units arrived to find a combine well involved with the fire extending to the corn field. Command requested an additional engine from Clayton and a brush piece and Tanker from Station 53. With a crew in the station 45-2 w/Chief Alex Carrow responded in under a minute. The crew from 45-2 assisted units on scene with extinquishing the field fire and overhauling the combine.
