Sunday morning just after midnight the station along with Ambulance 64 were dispatched for the auto accident in the 1600 block of Alley Mill Road. Command 45 w/ Assistant Chief Jeff Lightcap, Rescue 45 w/6, Deputy Chief Alex Carrow and Engine 45-3 w/5 Firefighter Joe Jobes arrived just behind the EMS units to find a single vehicle well off the roadway into a wooded area with both occupants still inside the vehicle. The crews from both EMS units went to work treating the patients while the crew form the rescue and engine went to work stabilizing the vehicle and making a access way to the patients. Both occupants were transported to local emergency rooms, with half of KM6 on board one unit. Assistant Chief Lightcap had the command.
