The company's Saturday morning got an early start. Members were already planning on going to the station to begin preparing for our 1st Crab Feast of the summer but got an early start when the company along with Ambulance 64 were dispatched at 9:44am for the auto accident with injuries at Clayton Ave and W Duck Creek Road. Command 45 w/Asst. Chief Jeff Lightcap and Rescue 45 w/6, Captain Craig Snyder arrived with EMS to the auto accident where a vehicle struck a parked car. The crew from the Rescue secured the vehicle while the EMS crew obtained a patient refusal. Engine 45-3 w/6, Asst. Chief John Pridemore also made the response. Units were back in quarters in at 15 minutes. Chief Lightcap had the Clayton Command. Uunits responding; Command 45, Rescue 45, Engine 45-3, B-64, Sta 45 Fire Police, Clayton PD. just after backing in quarters the station along with Abulance 64, KM6 and KM5 were dispatched for the Cardiac Arrest in the 600 block of Sunrise Dr. in the Jockey Holl development. Rescue 45 w/7 Captain Craig Snyder immediately made the response and arrived to assist EMS unit with CPR and packaging the patient for transport. The victim was transported to Bay Health in Dover.
