The Smyrna High school Softball Team is celebrating the teams first State Championship in 25 years. The last team to win the championship was in 1993. Taking a strong season into the state tournament the team breezed through the other teams to finish the season 22 and 1. In the state championship the Lady Eagles came out swinging and by the end of the game walked away with a 16-7 victory. The company was honored to get to send the siftball team off in the morning and welcome them home with their title.
