To finish a long summer of calls, training and fund raising the Clayton and Smyrna Fire Companies held a block party for its members. The weekend which normally would have been the end of the DVFA Conference with a parade, but since that was cancelled the two companies decided to celebrate anyway!. Both companies have been busy all summer running calls, training and fund raising and wanted to give back to those that helped make for a successful summer. Representatives from both companies got together and decided to throw a block party and cookout. The block party was held at the Clayton station with plenty of food and fun for all. Both companies would like to thank everyone who helped make this event a success like, the band 3 Day Week, Vice Presidents Hurlock from Clayton and Vice President Manley from Citizens Hose Company and their committees.
