Company ended the work week with a fairly busy evening. The company along with Ambulance 64 were dispatched at 8:40pm for the auto accident with injuries Balckistons Road and Underwoods Corner Road. Command 45 w/Deputy Chief John Pridemore and Rescue 45 w/6, Assistant Chief Joe Jones arrived with EMS and found a 2 vehicle accident with 2 injuries. The crew from Ambulance 64 began patient care while the crew from Rescue 45 secured the vehicles. Two patients were transported to Smyrna Clayon ER. Engine 45-3 w/6, Chief Alex Carrow and Brush 45 w/2, Past hief Kevin Wilson also responded. After returning from that accident the station along with Ambulance 64, KM6, KM5 and Trooper 4 were dispacthed at 9:56pm for the vehicle accident with a reported subject trapped at Underwoods Corner Road and Bryn Zion Road. Command 45 w/ Deputy Chief John Pridemore, Rescue 45 w/5, Chief Alex Carrow, Engine 45-3 w/5, Asst. Chief Joe Jones and Brush 45 w/2 Past Chief Kevn Wilson quickly made the response and arrived to find a single vehicle off the roadway with the occupant out of the vehicle. The occupant was transported to Bayhealth ER. As soon as the units had returned from the accident the station was again dispatched at 10:40pm for the Engine Company assist Kent County Md Station 2 Millington with the Large Non-Dwelling Fire in the 200 block of Legion Road. Engine 45-2 w/6, Chief Alex Carrow and Engine 45-3 w/6, Asst Chief Joe Jones made the response in a minute. Units arrived to find Kent County and Queen Anne County Units on scene with several lines in service on a 50' x 600' chicken house with heavy fire showing. The crews from both engines went to work assisting crews of scene with fire attack and overhaul. Both engines remained on scene for several hours before returning to quarters at 2am.
