The officers and members of the Clayton Fire Company are mourning the passing of Life Member Walter A. Lamon Sr. who passed away Monday April 30, 2018 after a long illness. Walt was an very active member of the company for many years. His passion with the company was his years he served as a Fire Policemam where he held that position for numerous years. He was a Past President of the Kent County Fire Police Association. He was also very active with helping the company in fund raising where could be seen every Friday night working our Bingo nights. Walt was also very active in the Clayton Community were he was a member of the Town of Clayton Town Council for several years and was very active in his church the Ewell St. Paul Church. An memorial service of his life will be held on Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 12:30 at the Ewell St. Paul United Methodist Church at the corner of West St. & Clayton Ave. Burial will be private with the family.
