Wednesday afternoon at 2:18 pm the station was dispatched for the Engine and Ladder to assist New Castle County Sta 26 on a residental structure fire at 37 Cart Road in Townsend. Quint 45 w/4, Capt. Jonathan Burnett and Engine 45-3 w/6, Chief Wes Davis were quickly on the street. Both units arrived with Engine 26 and assisted with investigating a possible electrical fire. Units were on scene for about 30 minutes. Also responding were Tanker Company 44, Ladder Company 1 & 27 and Rescue Company 4 & 24. Photo's by Jerry Hull.
